Two separate smaller systems require separate inverters, battery banks, wiring runs, permit applications, and maintenance routines. A single 25 kW system with dual Sol-Ark 18K inverters uses one integrated architecture, one shared battery bank, and one connection to the property's load center.

The dual Sol-Ark 18K configurations with Freedom Series batteries are better suited to properties where several large loads may operate at the same time, such as central HVAC, a well pump, workshop equipment, and kitchen appliances.
Two Sol-Ark 18K inverters provide 36,000W of combined continuous output and up to 72,000W of combined surge capacity. That additional headroom can be important for large homes, farms, workshops, and multi-structure properties.

With a 26.4 kW array, does the system overproduce in summer, and is excess energy wasted in a fully off-grid setup?
During strong summer conditions, a 26.4 kW array may produce more energy than the household can use or store in a single day.
Once the battery bank is fully charged, the Sol-Ark inverter reduces solar production to match the property's active electrical loads. The unused solar potential does not damage the system; the panels simply produce less than their maximum available output.
This seasonal surplus is an intentional part of many off-grid designs. A system that produces more than necessary during summer may generate substantially less during winter because of shorter days, lower sun angles, snow, clouds, and weather conditions.
An array capable of producing around 3,000 kWh in a strong summer month may produce considerably less during January in a northern climate. The goal is not to use every available watt throughout the year, but to maintain adequate production during the property's lowest-production season.
This collection offers up to 96 kWh of battery storage. Is there a practical limit to how much storage makes sense at this system size?
The practical battery limit depends on how many days of autonomy you want and how quickly the solar array can recharge the bank after a low-production period.
With 26.4 kW of installed solar, a 96 kWh battery bank can potentially recover a substantial amount of energy during one strong production day, although actual recharge time depends on household loads, weather, battery state of charge, and system settings.
Adding significantly more than 96 kWh may increase the time needed to fully recharge the bank after several cloudy days. This can leave you with a larger and more expensive battery bank that still requires multiple sunny days or generator support to recover.
For many off-grid households at this system size, 64 kWh provides approximately one to two days of useful autonomy under normal consumption, with longer runtime possible when loads are reduced. A 96 kWh bank may be a better fit for northern or cloudy climates, properties with irregular load spikes, or customers who want a deeper reserve before starting the generator.
The 25 kW packages include free freight to the lower 48 states. What does delivery look like, and how should buyers prepare?
A 25 kW package ships by freight rather than standard parcel delivery. The system will typically arrive on one or more pallets containing the panels, inverters, batteries, mounting equipment, wiring, and other included components.
Delivery is generally made to an accessible curb or driveway using a freight truck, often with liftgate service. When available, OMOSolar may coordinate delivery through its internal freight department.
Before shipment, make sure the delivery area is clear, level, and accessible to a large truck. Narrow roads, low branches, steep driveways, soft ground, and limited turning space can create delivery complications.
Forty-eight panels, dual inverters, batteries, racking, and wiring represent a significant amount of weight and material. A forklift or pallet jack is ideal, but buyers should at minimum arrange adequate help and have a plan for safely moving the equipment from the delivery point to a secure storage or installation area.
