We offer our Permitting Plan Package with Electrical Engineer Seal for our Complete DIY Solar Kits as well as our Boat Dock Kits 1KW - 50KW solar array size. This kit is an option when your AHJ only requires plans to be stamped for electrical. Our electrical only stamp offering is AHJ ready in as little as 4 business days after we receive all site specific information from you. Simply purchase then upload project information and answer a few questions (see below) and a plan set will be designed to your specifications.

In addition to good industry practice and in accordance with applicable laws and governing codes. We incorporate the following information into the Permit plan set:

QUESTIONS FOR PLANS (Customer MUST provide the following information specific to their project/location before plans can be done.
  1. Customers Name
  2. Address
  3. Phone Number
  4. County property is located in
  5. System Info - (Example 12KW Solar Array / 15KW Sol-ark Inverter / 32KW OMO Freedom Battery Bank Ground mounted.  Or include OMO SKU Number from our website on desired kit)
  6. If New Construction - Please Provide Blueprints of Home
  7. Inverter Desired Location
  8. Battery Bank Desired Location
  9. Main Breaker Panel Location (SW Corner of home, etc)
  10. Main Breaker Panel Size (125A/150A/200A etc)
  11. Backup Two Wire Generator in System
  12. Grid Tied OR Off Grid
    1. If grid-tied - battery backup / or no battery
    2. If grid-tied - Net Metering or UPS functionality
    3. If grid-tied - Meter Location (SW Corner of home, etc)
    4. If grid-tied - Electric Company Name
  13. Roof or Ground Mount
    1. Roof Mount - Required Pics of Rafters inside of attic.
    2. Ground Mount - Approx Location in relation to Home)

NOTE: This service is only offered for kits purchased from OMO. If your application or AHJ does not require sealed plans see our Basic Permitting Plan Package option. If your application or AHJ requires plans sealed by both an Electrical and Structural Engineer see our Premier Permitting Plan Package option. This permit package is for kits with solar arrays from 1KW to 50KW ONLY.
