Founder & Owner of Ozark Mountain Offgrid

Off-Grid Solar Educator • Renewable Energy Entrepreneur • Homesteader • DIY Solar System Designer

Matt McQuisten is the Founder and Owner of Ozark Mountain Offgrid (OMO Solar), where he helps homeowners, homesteaders, farmers, and DIY enthusiasts design practical, reliable solar power systems for off-grid, hybrid, and backup power applications.

For more than a decade, Matt and his family have lived on their off-grid farm in Southwest Missouri, powering their home, greenhouse, workshop, and agricultural operation with solar and wind energy. Rather than relying solely on theory, Matt teaches from firsthand experience gained through years of designing, building, operating, expanding, and maintaining the same types of systems he recommends to customers.

Today, Ozark Mountain Offgrid serves customers throughout the United States by providing DIY solar kits, custom system design, off-grid consulting, and intensive hands-on solar training.

  • DIY solar packages
  • Solar trailers
  • Tiny home solar systems
  • Personalized solar system design
  • One-on-one solar training
  • Solar equipment selection
  • Technical support and consulting

Matt personally works with customers to design systems based on their specific energy needs rather than selling one-size-fits-all solutions.
