EMP Shield Protection Devices
Need Help Selecting a Solar Model?
EMP Shield installs to the device that immediately follows the combiner (or PV array). This will be an inverter or charge controller. Find the Maximum Input Voltage for the device and select and EMP Shield that matches the Optimal Input Voltage Range of the device. As an example: many off grid systems lead to charge controllers. If there are two charge controllers that each have a Maximum Input Voltage of 150V you would need our Dual/DC/220-300V/W. If you have only one charge controller that has a Maximum Input Voltage of 150V, you will need a DC/220-300V/W EMP Shield. If you have an inverter as the first device that has a Maximum Input Voltage of 60V you would select the DC/90-120V/W EMP Shield. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us
